Declan
Duke
We’re very grateful to debonair Declan and his gracious family for enrolling him in our Blood Donor Program. We connected with his family through our Facebook page because his owner wanted to help save another precious pet’s life. He was so well- behaved that he didn’t need sedation during his blood donation. Good boy!
Dutiful Duke belongs to one of our wonderful long-time veterinary assistants. Buddy, our critically ill patient, needed two transfusions so we’re grateful to Duke and his caring owner for providing that extra life-saving blood supply that enabled him to survive and thrive. Thank you, Duke! You’re royalty in our book!
Buddy
Beautiful Buddy was brought to our 24/7 Emergency Service in October 2021 when he was seven months old. Our specialized Internal Medicine Service diagnosed him with Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA). Buddy required several blood transfusions to save his life. Our specialists also prescribed several medications. His devoted owner recently told us that he’s doing very well. His family veterinarian is monitoring him for the best long-term care and is able to start reducing his medications. Go, Buddy!
