Criticalist
Ron Achiel, DVM, DACVECC, Board Certified in Emergency and Critical Care, is originally from New York State. He attended the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2011. He completed a rotating internship at The Animal Medical Center (AMC) in New York City in 2013 and a specialty Emergency and Critical Care Internship at the University of Illinois in 2014. He completed his residency at Michigan State University and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in 2017. Dr. Achiel then worked as a criticalist at Garden State Veterinary Specialists until joining Guardian Veterinary Specialists in 2025.
