Meet Ashley, Our New Mobile Ultrasound Technician
Hi everyone! My name is Ashley Scala and I am so excited to join the GVS team!
My family and I currently live in Pawling, NY, and have for the last 12 years. I graduated from the Institute of Allied Medical Professions in Stamford Connecticut, in May of 2012 and worked for 4 years in OBGYN as a Perinatal Sonographer.
I left Danbury Perinatology to be home with my children while they were young, which I was very grateful to be able to do! Last June, I had the opportunity to enter the Veterinary world, at Sand Road Animal Hospital. It has always been a field I have wanted to explore and once I started, I knew this is where I wanted to be and continue to grow. I began performing ultrasounds while working as an assistant and quickly learned that both my passion for diagnostic imaging and my love of animals could be done together.
Caring for animals, aiding in their diagnosis, and being a part of their healing has been so fulfilling and I can’t wait to keep learning while serving all the patients we will care for at Guardian!
