Dr. Morrissey earned her undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Delaware (Go Blue Hens!) and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. After working with a variety of species from cats, dogs, and horses to snakes, hawks, and jaguars, she followed her passion for emergency medicine with companion animals. She now has several years of experience helping pets and their families through stressful situations and has completed an additional certification in emergency and critical care, reflecting her commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care. She is especially interested in point-of-care ultrasound and emergency procedures.
Having grown up in the area, Dr. Morrissey is especially happy to be caring for pets in the community she calls home. Outside of work, she and her husband enjoy hiking, traveling, and spending time with their cats and their “foster fail” puppy.
