Teena Toro, DVM, received her doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University and spent her clinical training year at Louisiana State University.
Upon graduation, Dr. Toro extended her formal veterinary training through a rotating internship in surgery and medicine at the New York Veterinary Specialty Center on Long Island. She remained there for another six years as an emergency clinician.
While she loves all aspects of veterinary medicine, she thrives in the fast-paced and unpredictable environment of emergency medicine. Her professional interests include critical care and wound management.
