Robert Hart, DVM, DACVS, Board Certified in Veterinary Surgery earned his DVM degree from Michigan State University and completed a residency in small animal surgery at Texas A&M, passing his board certification in 2003.
He is recognized globally for his expertise in fracture repair and has extensive experience with tibial plateau levelling osteotomy (TPLO), tibial tuberosity advancement (TTA) and total hip replacement surgeries.
Dr. Hart has held leadership positions in some of the top veterinary teaching hospitals in the country, including as director of orthopaedic and joint replacement surgery at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. He also served on the faculty at Cornell University, where he supervised and educated surgical residents, interns and veterinary students. In addition to his clinical practice, he remains involved in research, publishing journal articles and book chapters, and educating veterinary surgeons worldwide.
