Criticalist
Dr. Ron Achiel, DVM, DACVECC, Board Certified in Emergency and Critical Care is originally from New York State. He attended the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2011. He completed a rotating internship at The Animal Medical Center (AMC) in New York City in 2013 and a specialty Emergency and Critical Care Internship at the University of Illinois in 2014. He completed his residency at Michigan State University in 2017 and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care the same year. Dr. Achiel has been at GSVS since October 2017.
