We have immediate openings for overnight Veterinary Assistants. The available schedule is Wednesday through Saturday from 6:45 P.M. to 7:15 A.M. Positions are available in the ICU and Emergency Services departments. We’re a new, privately-owned veterinary 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital in Brewster, NY.

Successful candidates will be excellent communicators with a professional attitude. Responsibilities include handling and restraining pets and assisting doctors and veterinary technicians in a wide range of patient care activities.

The right candidate will be able to provide exceptional customer service; follow direction with and without supervision; lift objects or pets at 30 pounds; control large, anxious or nervous pets; learn and understand medical terminology and procedures. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
